Anti-Bullying Words Of Wisdom
So, my last blog was a very deep detailed story about my time at secondary school and how I channelled my stress and trauma from the bullying I experienced through my writing.
Well in tonight’s post I thought I would do a top 5 quotes and sayings to empower you.
If you have been bullied or are facing a similar situation right now a lot of these may sound a bit cheesy and cliché but I hope they help in some way. I didn't write these by the way they are just some of the great words of wisdom that I heard along the way.
1. Why spend five seconds thinking about something that won’t affect you in the next five years.
I love this quote so much that it has become my mantra for this year. A friend at work said that to me. When I was feeling a bit stressed out and I walked around saying it all day to myself
2. It says more about me then than it does about you.
This is one of those thoughts to have in your mind that helps if someone has said something hurtful to you. It’s a great way of keeping in perceptive and grounded remember your awesome.
3. No One Can Beat You At Being You
I like this quote a lot because it’s so simple and yet empowering. Remember you have so many good qualities and gifts and isn’t that what life is all about? 😊
4. No One Can Make You Feel Inferior Without Your Consent.
This is a gem from Eleanor Roosevelt and still very true to this day. I’ll keep saying this until I go blue in the face you are important.
5. You can’t choose how people react but you can choose how to respond.
So very true, now I am in my 30s this is quote that I have come to love. It takes practice and might take you a while to build up mental stamina but if you can then trust me it will be worth it.
Finally, thanks for reading and don’t forget to comment and share the love.
