Hitting The Reset Button Top Tips

Hitting the Reset Button Top Tips

Life as we all know comes with struggles but if you think about it. It is those struggles that make us who we are. Today’s blog post is about hitting the reset button and getting back on track in order to be the best version of yourself that you can be. This post is for people that have picked up a habit that they have grown out of or met up with a group of people that they have outgrown.

Basically, there is something about yourself that you don’t like that you want to work on in this post are my top tips to help you get back on the right track.

1. Take A Step Back

The last three days have been pretty challenging for me. Without going into too much detail I have taken a lot of things on all at once instead of going at it one step at a time. I rushed into them like a bull in a china shop. That was until last night in the afternoon I decided to just detox my self from everything I turned my social media off I switched my phone off and just got some headspace this gave me the chance to think about where I went wrong and how I can move forward. So my advice would be to give yourself sometime in the day to just reassess and process things.

2. Start A Gratitude Journal

A gratitude journal is a great way reflecting on what you are thankful for in your life. It gives you the opportunity to focus on the positive things that are happening in your life and that you are thankful for. They are amazing and really can be really uplifting.

3. Setting Goals And Todo Lists

For many people like myself on the Autism Spectrum structure is very important. So, take some time to write down some small daily goals or things that you want to do for that day. But also remember try not to be hard on yourself if you don’t manage to achieve all of what you wanted to for that day. Think of making a to do list as a rope help you up a daily mountain.

4. Taking Breaks And Do Things You Enjoy

As I said earlier how these last few days have been a bit tricky for me. So after I have written this post I will do some more relaxation exercises also take a shower and cook my favourite food and watch my favourite films. Why have I told you this well because doing things we enjoy this is good for us and helps us look after our mental wellubeing and can give you that much needed boost to take on what ever the next day throws at you.

5. Confide in people that you trust tell them how you are feeling.

My last tip for todays blog is reaching out to people that care about you. It’s important to talk to others that understand and listen to you because they might be feeling exactly the same as you and you can help each other out.

As always people thanks for reading if you have any more tips then feel free to leave them in the comments below. Remember to be kind to your self I’ll see you in the next post.
